As someone who owns and iron and has used it many times, can confirm. Mine’s made some strange burping sounds whenever the water is low, or if I lift it too fast, but nothing of this level. Definitely sounds like it’s either possessed, or dying a slow and agonizing death.
That sound is definitely soemthing to do with the water, but I can't tell what"s happening. Edit: Not even fully sure if that's a steam iron, honestly.
Besides the fact this is funny, did you ever find out what's causing this? (Besides satan) mine is doing the same and trying to iron at 5am without waking the kids is..stressful
That's the exact audio of that annoying kid that drank two liters of coke in one sitting and it's trying to annoy you by constantly burping in your ear and ends up throwing up a little bit in his mouth.
Ignoring possible anachronism, would it be likely that Ms. Tatternickle might have one or two of this, albeit with fuel instead of electricity to make steam?
