Hi:) it's me again:) I love ur hair, it looks so healthy. What do u use on ur hair? U so pretty it really doesn't matter if you do your hair or not, just so u know! Lol :)
Hi everyone! Would anyone mind sharing products or tools which they have had great experiences using when following old fashioned hair style tutorials? I have thick shoulder length hair. I experience split ends often. I started using Function of Beauty. I use organic cornstarch during the days when I do not wash my hair. Thank you! Peace be with you.
i feel like ive tried this a hundres times now and just cant get it right! any advice on how to pin the rolls in the 2nd style? they keep falling out when i try, so i think im doing it wrong
I remember a lady talking about how she used to save her hair that was cut off and sew it up in a hairnet in the 40's. That was how she made rats. I might try this.
Let me be perfectly honest here: rolls of any kind are incredibly difficult. They may be a basic hairstyle, but I find it so hard to get them even or to stay put.
Hello from literally 5 months later: omg the felt thing. I've been trying to find a diy hack that will actually work for me for bumper bangs without going to the store/waiting until May for a hair donut delivery. My mind is blown. You are now my queen.
Imagine having thick enough hair that you can actually section parts of it and still have enough left over to get the right look at the back. Can not relate. I have plenty of length (my hair is hip length) but baby fine hair. And two bobby pins? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Just to keep a bun in a bun net it used to take my Mum 200 bobby pins. Like we had two sets of 100 and they all went in! Then lots of hairspray to keep it in place. I still love watching stuff like this. Like even if I could do it I probably wouldn't because that level of effort is just nah. I wouldn't manage to do anything else if I did that. I only have so many spoons.
OMG this is perfect timing! I'm going to be an extra in a movie next week that takes place in the 40s and the hair department is encouraging us to try and make out own styles. Will definitely be trying these!
